- I don't really *like* WfW very much (I use emacs and PageMaker), but
- Excel is very nice. I haven't seen DeScribe, but I'm willing to take
- your word for it that it does a good job.

- The point is that there is often a steep learning curve to using *any*
- of these programs, and there is also an investment in data-entry time
- that you have made. Finally, if there are lots of other people using
- things like Excel and WfW, you sometimes need to exchange files with
- them. (That's mainly why I have WfW myself, even though I don't
- prefer using it.)

- This means that if we would really like to spend more of our time in
- OS/2, and less time re-booting into Windows or WINOS2, we would like
- to eventually (say at upgrade time) be able to get OS/2 versions of
- those programs.
