  14. Well, it's not as if MS is clean in this numbers game - how about the
  15. zillions of Win copies apparently gathering dust in Egghead stores? They
  16. get added in to that marvelous MS total too. Ok, they were "sold" to 
  17. Egghead, but if they languish on shelves (and Egghead seems disappointed
  18. with 3.1 sales, so apparently they are) then it doesn't signify, at least
  19. for me. And of course, the real nub - use level, which is very difficult
  20. to estimate for either Win or OS/2, so speculate you heart out.

  22. Plus, Gateway may not put OS/2 on, but Dell does. And I wonder how long
  23. it will be before Gateway does... my guess is that most clone shops will
  24. be offering OS/2 bundled by early next year.
