- I was considering purchase of this printer for OS/2
- and so yesterday I called NEC at 1-800-NEC-INFO.
-
- I talked to tech support. They said they have not been
- told that OS/2 will be supported. It is not supported now.
- Real bummer. I told him they should support OS/2.
-
- Anyway, now I don't know what printer to buy. I want postscript
- and high quality printing and lots of fonts and HP emulation and
- auto-detection and
- I want it for $1400 dollars (going price for a model 95).
- What postcript laser printers does everybody else use with OS/2?
- Do the model 90 drivers work with
- it? Maybe I should still get this printer and hope NEC sees the
- light and writes OS/2 drivers.
-
- Let me know your suggestions, and also if you have a postscript
- laser that works with OS/2 mail me the model.
-
- Oh, also a local printer store is trying to sell me an Everex
- Laserscript LX. Anybody know if this will work with OS/2? Or
- any other comments? The salesman was not very knowledgeable (surprise!).
