- I have a Practical Peripherals v32/v42/v42bis internal modem set up in
- COM3 (3E8,IRQ4, nothing wacky), and have no trouble at all with it in
- DOS. However, OS/2 has a really odd problem with it...
-
- I set up my COM drivers in config.sys with the (3,3E8,4) statement, and
- the modem initializes -- after the _third boot_. The modem will never
- initialize after one or two hard boots, only after at least the third,
- sometimes longer. Strange, because I have no trouble on the first boot
- with DOS 5.0...and my AMI BIOS says 3E8 is a valid address on the first
- boots...
-
- Anyone have any idea? Please E-mail me the answer, if you would be so
- kind...
