- Hi netters,
- When I first installed os/2 and used Win software under os/win,
- I have been getting message of UNIDRV.DLL not found message, I was
- thereby not allow to print at all.
- Then I search through my files in hpfs drive, stock
- Win3.0, and stock OS/2 2.0 disks (Oops, only the 6 printer disks),
- I didn't find that 'unidrv.dll'. Finally I found a copy in Win3.1
- disk, I renamed it from unidrv.dl_. and I copied it to mdos/winos2 (?).
- Now everything works just as expected.
- I didn't remember I deleted anything from mdos/winos2, how come
- that unidrv.dll is gone. Would I find that file in the first 15 disks
- of os/2 2.0? and is it okay to ask the one from Win3.1? (though it
- seems perfectly fine now).
-
- Another Win question now:-
- I once have 2 win apps running (to be specific Taipei [Mahjongg game]
- and Graphics Workshop), while I have Taipei in autoplay, I switched
- to Graphics Workshop. I clicked a few time before it can switch,
- then when I am finally in Graphics Workshop, I found that Taipei is no
- longer running (though I expect it would still be running in background),
- and when I moved the Graphics Workshop window, no redrawing was done
- and I can see lots of ghost windows around. At the end, I had to killed
- both Win apps to get WPS working again.
- (specifics: Trident 800x600-16 seamless display. Both Win apps windowed)
- Am I doing something wrong? some Setting needed to be fixed?
- or it is the fault of WPS? Should I expect Taipei to run in the
- background when I switched to Grahpics Workshop??
