-
- I doubt it. The advertisements just started and they are difficult to find.
-
- >Has anyone seen the OS/2 TV commercial yet? I've been looking,

-
- I saw one on 8/20. At first I didn't know what to expect. Let me explain.
-
- It starts out with a group of people around a table. One is standing and the
- rest are sitting. The person standing is talking about how he is now able to
- get work done quicker, easier, and how he feels so much more alert.
-
- The advertisement changes to graphics. An OS/2 logo moving. The announcer
- says:
-
- "When the computer is at the heart of your business. Make sure OS/2
- is at the heart of your computer." Or something like this.
-
- The advertisement then returns to the person who says something about OS/2
- (I don't remember what).
-
- Observations:
-
- Number ONE: Big time: It is not on enough. I saw it once and
- didn't get a lot of it the first time. I need to see the advertisement
- again (and again and again) to help me remember it. Sure I remember
- OS/2 and heart, but that is not enough to get me to buy a product.
-
- 2) When I first started watching it, I didn't know what to
- expect. Confusion is the keyword. At first I thought it might be
- for the car company which is designing for the human race.
-
- Then as the person spoke, I thought maybe it was an insurance
- advertisement. SERIOUSLY! I thought it was going to be about his
- open heart transplant or bypass and how it, (the operation) helped
- him. How the insurance firm helped his company and his family.
-
- I was preparing myself to have him open his shirt and show the scar
- down his chest.
-
- 3) Boy. the break to the OS/2 graphics caught me off guard.
- I like the slogan!
-
- 4) When we came back to him, my mind was still swimming.
- I remember him saying something about OS/2 but can't remember what.
-
- 5) I really would like to see the advertisement again so I can
- get some of the meat.
-
- Bert.
