- While a package like this would allow a quick port, it would give you a
- good OS/2 product. Having preemptive multi-tasking thread allows a
- developer to do some really neat background processing. Just porting the
- code will let you get a product out, but your product will get clobbered by
- a competitors product that takes advantage of the threaded architechure.
- Note, this will also true for NT.
