- You can't! There is an inherent limitation in the PC that limits you to
- 1024 cylinders (I think it's in the BIOS). These large disks are usually
- IDE drives (maybe SCSI too, haven't had much to do with them) and can usually
- be configured using different configurations of Heads/Cylinders/Sectors. In
- fact I have been told by some manufacturers to use settings that are
- different to the physical layout of the disk because performance will be
- better. The drive automatically detects this and translates all your drive
- references for you.

- Either contact Microscience or a local Hard drive retailer or repairer
- (repair places are usually very willing to give info) and ask for
- alternative configurations for you drive. You might also want to try one of
- the hardware newgroups.
