- My Network folder is _gone_.
-
- I did a chkdsk, and it told me (1) that "c:\os!2_2.0_d\novell\network"
- was a bad subdirectory, and (2) that everything in my
- "c:\os!2_2.0_d\network" directory had cross linked EA's.
-
- chkdsk /f wasn't able to fix these problems, so I brightly thought to
- myself, "I don't need "c:\os!2_2.0_d\novell\network; I'll just delete it
- all."
-
- So I did, and then I ran chkdsk again. It came back and said something
- about removing EA's for the subdirectories I had zapped, and then it
- said something about "truncating" extra EA's in c:\os!2_2.0_d\network.
-
- When I rebooted, my desktop Network and my Novell/Network folders were
- both gone. Oops! Ack!
-
- Short of reinstalling everything, how do I get my desktop Network folder
- back?
