- I think the problem with the speed of our video displays is partially
- due to the slowness of the cards, especially at SVGA modes. I read some
- VGA specs, and you have to do a tremendous amount of tinkering (lost of
- VGA registers to fiddle with..) just to draw something on the screen.
- Add the wonderful speed of the ISA bus on top of it, and you have a
- crawling combination.. -turgut
