- Why do vendors call their computers "Windows Workstations," their
- video adapters "Windows SuperX," and so forth? Rhetorical question, I
- suppose.

- This system is just about the best system (on paper) you could put
- together for OS/2. The ATI Graphics Ultra is very fast and 8514/A
- hardware compatible, meaning it will working with the stock 1024x768
- 256 color 8514/A driver that comes with OS/2 2.0. The monitor you
- list is quite nice according to reports I've heard. The processor is
- plenty fast, the RAM supply is quite comfortable, and the hard disk
- space is ample -- a nice system.
-
- I have no experience or impressions, pro or con, with Standard,
- however.
-
- See if they'll credit against the price if you delete the software --
- or, if possible, see if they'll get you the OS/2 version of Lotus
- 1-2-3 or Paradox, for example.
