  20. CACHE (as in the IFS line) controls the HPFS cache and DISKCACHE
  21. controls the FAT cache.

  23. I would suggest no more than 1 MB total cache for your system.  So,
  24. for example, if you have all HPFS try CACHE of 768 and DISKCACHE of 64
  25. (without lazy writes).  If you have a mixture of the two, try 512 for
  26. each.  If you have just FAT, try 1024 for DISKCACHE and REM out the
  27. IFS line.
