- Strange. vt100 emulation is critical for me, too. I login to UNIX systems
- and "vi" is my text editor. I tried TE/2 but abandonded it very shortly
- since when running "vi" in a TE/2 session, even hopping from one word
- to the next (with the vi command 'w') erases the previous word.
- One gets tired of hitting ctl-L continually. There were also some other
- problems with the vt100 emulation that I've noted down somewhere but
- don't remember off the top of my head.
-
- On the other hand, I have yet to find a flaw in the Softerm vt100/vt102
- emulation. Flawless. (Now that I 've figured out how to set my default
- up/download directory, I think I can live with it!)
