  22.   I don't believe that you got the full picture.  I was on the phone
  23. with a rep. from Borland yesterday and this is what I was told.  There 
  24. are two beta programs going on for C++ for OS2. One, the "normal" beta
  25. program where they pay for the beta testing.  To be a part of this 
  26. program you must fill out an application and get accepted as well as
  27. fill out the non-disclosure form. The second program is the one you
  28. recieved the offer for. All you need is to fill out the non-disclosure
  29. form and send the money(~$299). After the main release you get the 
  30. compiler for an upgrade price.  True, you don't get paid under this
  31. program but you *DO* get an OS2 compiler and they will take your bug
  32. reports and comments. As a plus to this program they do not require
  33. you to do extensive, pre defined, beta testing.
  34.   All in all, I would say this is a great offer.....IMHO. :-)
