- I don't believe that you got the full picture. I was on the phone
- with a rep. from Borland yesterday and this is what I was told. There
- are two beta programs going on for C++ for OS2. One, the "normal" beta
- program where they pay for the beta testing. To be a part of this
- program you must fill out an application and get accepted as well as
- fill out the non-disclosure form. The second program is the one you
- recieved the offer for. All you need is to fill out the non-disclosure
- form and send the money(~$299). After the main release you get the
- compiler for an upgrade price. True, you don't get paid under this
- program but you *DO* get an OS2 compiler and they will take your bug
- reports and comments. As a plus to this program they do not require
- you to do extensive, pre defined, beta testing.
- All in all, I would say this is a great offer.....IMHO. :-)
