- I am trying to get AutoCAD R12 to run in a DOS VDM under OS/2.
-
- This version of AutoCAD comes with the Phar Lap 386|DOS extender V4.1
- that supports DPMI (I don't know if its DPMI 0.9 or 1.0) and when
- I try to run it in a DOS VDM I get the error message
-
- Phar Lap error 74 - Can't use -REALBREAK under this version of DPMI
-
- If I set REALBREAK=0 in the DOS extender then this error goes away
- but I get a fatal error instead.
-
- Does anyone know if it is possible to have this DOS extender
- coexist with OS/2? Can anyone suggest some switches to try?
- Am I doomed?
-
- It does run in a fullscreen DOS box under windows 3.1 but it requires
- a special driver to do so. There is no such driver supplied for OS/2.
-
- (AutoDesk told me (in so many words) to get stuffed when I asked if it
- runs under OS/2)
