  14. About this Hercules business:

  16. 1.  I doubt that to expect Hercules to write a driver makes
  17. much sense.  They (Hercules) probably have stopped manufacturing those
  18. "Hercules Graphics" cards years ago.  The cards that are still around 
  19. are probably all cheap clones made in Taiwan.  And drivers won't come
  20. from those manufacturers either.

  22. 2.  Isn't it time for those folk who still use a Hercules
  23. to do themselves a favor and get a decent monitor?  A GUI with
  24. a low-res monochrome monitor just doesn't make sense.

  26. 3.   Sure, IBM doesn't have to write drivers for all the
  27. hardware around.  But if their marketing approach were sensible,
  28. they would, wouldn't they?
