- According to the Windows 3.1 reference kit:

- "32-bit disk access must exactly match the hard drive controller, not
- the specific hard drive. Windows 3.1 [32-bit disk access] supports the
- standard introduced by Western Digital for 1003 controllers. This standard
- supports all types of hard drive controllers except ESDI and SCSI."

- Hopefully your dealer will be able to tell you if the drive match this
- specification.

- kit for Windows power users.
