  20. Hi Carl,
  21. you have to tell your Stealth card to use noninterlaced mode before you
  22. start windows. There is a utility on the installation disc that allows you
  23. to do this. You have to select a monitor (if your monitor is not on the
  24. list, you can define custom settings which are supported by your monitor.
  25. Be careful to read the technical specs in your monitor manual, since the
  26. horizontal frequency required for 1024x768 NI is pretty high (around
  27. 57 kHz), and that can ruin a monitor that's not built for it.

  29. BTW: The utility is SMODE.COM, and after the monitor selecction, there
  30. has to be a line "SMODE MONITOR" added to your AUTOEXEC.BAT which will
  31. set the Stealth to the desired settings.
