  12.   I was wondering if someone could explain something to me.  On my PC at work,
  13. I have a Paradise card with 256k ram.  When using Windows I can only get up
  14. to 640x480x16.  However, if I use Cshow 8.44 to view bitmaps and gifs,
  15. they display in 640x480x256.  So the question is, why can I see 256 colors
  16. in a graphics viewer, but not through Windows...

  18.   I did try the 640x400x256 driver, which did work *but* everytime I moved
  19. the mouse a flurry of screen noise would occur.
