- I'm trying to install NT on my Toshiba 4400SXC laptop via a Trantor
- scsi-to-parallel adaptor and an NEC CDR-74 CDROM drive. The drive
- works perfectly from DOS5.0, and the manual install process for NT
- also worked fine. Once NT loads, I cannot figure out how the heck
- to get the CDROM drive recognizable again. I think I've looked at
- every single .ini file I can find; nothing looks reasonable. Naturally,
- I can't RTFM, since they're on the darn CD-ROM!
-
- Anybody have a clue?
-
- BTW, I'm nearly Windows-illiterate (I live primarily in the Unix/X world),
- so if you assume I know nothing about what I'm doing I will not be
- offended (since truth is not offensive) :-)
