- I have VBTools 2.0 and it contains some very interesting controls...it
- includes a high-res picture control, which allows 256-color images to
- be displayed; a screen saver control; several command buttons, which include
- options for multiple bitmaps or icons; there is a toolbox control that allows
- you to create a toolbox of button (I guess maybe even a toolbar); there is
- a scrolling text control (of course, after I wrote a routine for it!); there
- is a control for colored bar graphs and charts; and so on....
-
- In a nutshell, it expands the capabilities of VB tremendously...VBTools 2.0
- comes with a shit-load controls (I can't quite remember the number...but
- there are alot). As for VB 2.0...I only read that it will be much faster
- than the first. At this rate, I think Visual C++ will be in order...:-)
- Anyways, VB is becoming quite a serious programming tool...and fun too!
- I can create a serious application with little surprises (for those serious
- computer weenies who don't smile at anything!) I took a 256 color image of
- the president of my company and had scrolling text roll by...thank God he
- was amused.
