  46. I'm sure Thomas was trying to be helpful but these two answers are not
  47. at all related to the problem sam4628 was having.  He didn't say anything
  48. about running PC-NFS and these suggestions would only be helpful if he
  49. was trying to run PC-NFS in addition to another program that uses the
  50. packet driver, like WinQVT/Net or NCSA telnet.

  52. I think you should first check if you have the line:

  54. EMMExclude=b000-bxxx where bxxx is the last memory location used by your
  55. network card
  56.  
  57. in you SYSTEM.INI file.

  59. Another thing you could is using the program WINPKT.COM in addition to
  60. your normal packet driver.  This program makes sure the program that is
  61. supposed to receive the packet is in memory before it calls it's packet
  62. receiving subroutine.  WINPKT.COM is generally available on the same
  63. machines as the packet drivers.
