  19. We do a lot of faxing to China (from europe) and the lines are often
  20. very bad. Sometimes during the initial handshaking WinFax comes up
  21. with a "No communication from modem" message. One then has to click
  22. it away, after which the event is removed from the pending list. This,
  23. I think, is a misfeature as it prevents us from putting several faxes
  24. through overnight unattended.

  26. The manual doesn't say what this message means. Is it the local or 
  27. remote modem that refuses to communicate? The fax usually goes through
  28. after several retries (which alas cannot be done unattended).

  30. Since switching to Windows 3.1, when selecting receipient the correct
  31. phone number is no longer automatically inserted when tabbing to the
  32. phone number field. One now has to go into the phone book and pick the
  33. right entry.
