- Yes, the best way to speed up all windows apps is with more RAM to play with.
- if you install a total of 6 (or more) MB RAM, you can run a sizeable cache,
- a small (1 MB or so) RAM disk for temp space and still have room for working.

- Not really significant. Most of windows functions do not use the co-processor
- unless the application was written specifically to use it (i.e. Excel, Word,
- Mathcad) . It doesn't do much for solitaire, but why should it?

- You will notice significant speed and stability gains running 3.1. It is
- also the cheapest way to boost speed. I'm not sure if 6 (or 8) MB will
- run windows 3.0 faster than 4 MB will run 3.1, but I assume so. Besides,
- windows 3.1 has some features that make it attractive (TrueType, minesweeper,
- better object linking, a better cache, etc.)

- Try using Winspeed (commercial program, not free/share ware) and/or win 3.1
- with the latest video drivers (cica, garbo, and other sites)
