  27. This is the second negative comment about Ami product support
  28. I've noticed, so I thought I'd put in my $0.02. Depending
  29. on what you call product support, my experience with them
  30. has been pretty good.  I've had a couple of unusual problems
  31. with AmiPro, and Lotus tech support has been pretty good
  32. about call backs, follow-ups, etc. When they couldn't 
  33. duplicate a bug, I uploaded a sample file to their BBS
  34. and they worked with it.  So in that respect I'm reasonably
  35. pleased.

  37. However (*flame on*) that doesn't forgive their failure to
  38. fix the glaring problems in the equation editor.  I am
  39. astounded that well known bugs (such as the double-spacing
  40. problem with the equations) apparently still exist in version 3.0.
  41. Lotus has implemented a reasonably good equation editor,
  42. then rendered it virtually useless for serious work by,
  43. for instance, not allowing you to cut and paste frames 
  44. within paragraphs.  I realize that equation editing isn't
  45. a priority with the mainstream WP developers.  But to
  46. write the darn thing and then not fix the bugs is annoying
  47. in the extreme.  (*flame off*)
