- Just upgraded my modem to an OEM Zoom version that supports V.42bis/V.32bis.
- Using Procomm Plus for Windows, the max data xfer speed I can manage is
- about 6.8K baud. I can not find the bottleneck, why is it so slow?
-
- Using Procomm Plus 2.0a outside of the Windows environment, I have no problems
- with data xfer speeds and have attained speeds of about 38K baud with the new
- modem. I used the same modem configuration and DTE speed for both versions of
- Procomm. I am running DOS 5.0 and Win 3.1 on a 386/SX-25 in enchanced mode.
-
- Any one else experience this? Please help.
