  11. Just upgraded my modem to an OEM Zoom version that supports V.42bis/V.32bis.
  12. Using Procomm Plus for Windows, the max data xfer speed I can manage is
  13. about 6.8K baud. I can not find the bottleneck, why is it so slow?

  15. Using Procomm Plus 2.0a outside of the Windows environment, I have no problems
  16. with data xfer speeds and have attained speeds of about 38K baud with the new
  17. modem. I used the same modem configuration and DTE speed for both versions of
  18. Procomm. I am running DOS 5.0 and Win 3.1 on a 386/SX-25 in enchanced mode.
