- The slow scrolling is a problem which exists in most Windows programs
- which scroll text. The reason it is so slow is because the whole text
- area is being painted from the top down every time the text scrolls. There
- isn't really too much that can be done. An accelerated video card with a
- BitBlt function built in would probably speed it up immensely. Hope
- this helps a little.
