I hope the Net will once again, come through, and do, that voodoo, that it do,
so well!
We are getting the following error message when trying to run a program.
C:\MENU> mcad_get
Cannot execute C:\MENU\MCAD_GET.EXE
Has anyone ran across this message ("Cannot execute...")? Before you think is a memory problem let me tell you some details:
'386 PC
QEMM memory manager
4 meg memory
~ 540 - 610 main memory available (depending on config.sys used)
Program size on disk is 120K
This program was working fine for a couple years now. The problem is that this PC is used by a great many people who are constantly changing the AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS files.
What I'm looking for are any leads. Who prints out this message, DOS or QEMM? Why does this message get envoked? Any help would be appreciated.
