  12. I've noticed of late that after my system has been up for a bit and doing
  13. some UUCP transfers, any further attempts to use the modem fail.  You can
  14. open the port but the modem will not respond.  I believe this may be one
  15. of the reasons my uucico process hangs.  Has anyone else had a problem with
  16. the comm port becoming "frozen", require a power down and then a power up?
  17. (just a regular C-A-D will not do the trick)
