- As far as I can tell, there is nothing out there which gives
- support for Hercules graphics under Linux. I have had a brief
- look at some of the kernel code and the FAQs etc but it is not
- obvious to me how I can write programs which can write to
- the Hercules card in graphics mode. I assume that I will need
- to do this at a low level, i.e. read/write to the Hercules
- ports and the video memory directly. I have done all of this
- under ms-dos, including from 386 protected mode with djgpp,
- and would like to port my program to Linux.
- Can someone help, or point me in the right direction?
