- Well, not quite "of course." For clarification: Linux can use up to
- four simultaneous serial ports on different IRQs "out of the box" with
- standard AT hardware and typical serial cards. If you need more than
- that, it is possible to get even more by making a few small changes
- and recompiling the kernel.
