  23. Well, the DAK price is nice, but you better order fast, since DAK
  24. recently (a couple of months ago?) filed for bankruptcy.  :)

  28. Actually, Linux also supports several other SCSI controllers, the
  29. ST01/2 (Seagate) being among them, and those are s'posed to be dirt
  30. cheap.

  36. Go for it.  :)  I'm sure that once someone decides they need it
  37. enough, they'll write one - until then, why bother?  I don't know many
  38. people who would go out and buy some hardware just so they can write
  39. the drivers for it.

  41. This is pure speculation, but I suspect it may also be harder to get
  42. the information needed to write drivers for the proprietary (non-SCSI)
  43. systems.
