- Hello,
-
- Just as soon as I finish tuning KERMIT I'll be prepared to install gcc2.2.2d
- I've tried to read as much as I could on installing gcc, but I'm still unclear
- about a couple of questions. If someone could help me out, I'd greatly appreciate
- it.
-
- Steps to installation of gcc, (as I understand them to be).
- Download the 3 gcc files to my Linux machine (lib/misc/db).
- Download the Header files for 0.97pl1
- Download the Install.2.x script.
-
- From here to I just run (execute) the script, and that is it?
- Where should the compiler be placed (directory tree)?
- Is there anything else, ie. changing my paths, etc ?
-
- I appologise if these are ignorant questions, but I'm learning and I've not
- been able to find the answers.
-
- Thanks,
