  20. For those people who see } as a right curly brace: it should be an a
  21. with a small circle on top.  The pronounciation is roughly the same as
  22. the o in or.

  24. Then there is the letter {, which is (clearly :) an a with two dots on
  25. top.  Its pronounciation depends on the word, but it is usually either
  26. like the a in anger, or like the e in elk.

  28. For the curious, there is also |, an o with two dots on top, but I can't
  29. think of any way to describe the pronounciation.
