- sumex-aim.stanford.edu is one of the best known FTP sites for Mac stuff.
- In the directory info-mac/art/qt you'll find a few QuickTime movies. Last time
- I looked, there was a 6-megabyte compilation of the collected sayings of Dan
- Quayle.
-
- They tend to rotate the stuff in this directory, deleting old movies to make
- way for new ones. There are other mirror sites around the world which have
- kept some of the older ones--I found a few with an Archie search.

- Get one or two good HyperCard books, and dive in. Danny Goodman's "Complete
- HyperCard Handbook 2.0", 3rd ed, is a good one that I've seen--it goes all
- the way up to scripting, but it's probably as gentle an introduction as you're
- going to find.
-
- If you want the ultimate reference to the HyperTalk language, get the book--
- I forget the title, but it's got "HyperTalk" in it--by Dan Winkler and Scott
- Kamins. Dan Winkler is the architect of HyperTalk.
-
- And finally, go read comp.sys.mac.hypercard. You'll find several current and
- former members of the HyperCard team hanging out there, and they are frequently
- willing to answer your questions.
-

-
- Let's see, these were originally developed by Apple, but have now been turned
- over to Claris. I guess you should call up Claris to find out how to get hold
- of them.
