- Upper case isn't the issue. Having getty/login see *anything* come in the
- port during receiving a call is the problem. It can get particularly nasty
- if echo is on, and the modem and getty will get into echo fights.

- Many modems support Q3 (don't issue result codes on incoming call). This
- is a better solution.
