  24. Well, thanks for the responses.  Neil Rickert was especially
  25. helpful.  The correct answer is:
  26.  
  27. Don't put the @matd.gatech.edu at the end of everything.  If every-
  28. thing else is configured correctly, then things will work.  (sendmail
  29. was looking up matd.gatech.edu from the nameserver about 50 times)
  30. Everything works now!  The result is that building newaliases now only
  31. takes a couple of seconds.
