- I'm looking for some way to divert incoming mail to different folders
- before reading it, from noisy mailing lists, for example. I stumbled
- across elm's "filter" program, but I don't want to use the rest of
- elm. I currently use VM from within emacs and I'd rather not change.
- (At least not today!)
-
- Before I retrieve Elm, install it on my own system, and then beg,
- plead and argue for setgid permission from my sysadmin (with no
- guarantee of success), can elm's filter be used easily by itself? Are
- there better ways to do what I want, given I'm not interested in the
- rest of elm? I've already learned one handy thing
- ("|/usr/lib/sendmail $LOGNAME" in rn) since subscribing to this
- newsgroup, so I'm confident you all can enlighten me!
