  12. I am using filter for all of my mail, and I've gotten pretty complex.
  13. The other day I added a new group of rules, which bumped my total up
  14. to 26.  At that point, I found that a filter summary gave really
  15. strange values for my last rule-- executed hundreds of millions of
  16. times for negative billions of percent!

  18. I removed one rule, to put me back down to 25, and the problem
  19. disappeared.

  21. I have looked through Configure and the filter sources, but I was
  22. never asked about 'number of rules' as I was about aliases, and I
  23. didn't see anything obvious in the filter code.

  25. Any help would be appreciated, since I would not only like to add that
  26. rule back in but can see a time when I would add yet more rules.  This
  27. letter was sent to news (I hope!) via email, so please reply in kind.
