  17.     I have designed a floating point adder to work at 62.5MHz. My
  18. Irsim simulation runs at 61.7MHz but I have heard that Irsim is heavily 
  19. loaded against these designs and hence my actual fabricated chip should
  20. run at least at the same speed, if not faster.

  22. Does anyone have any experience in this regards ie. has anyone had a
  23. chip fabricated whose simulation was done using Irsim and if so, what
  24. was the factor of speed improvement ?
