- Hi,
- I have designed a floating point adder to work at 62.5MHz. My
- Irsim simulation runs at 61.7MHz but I have heard that Irsim is heavily
- loaded against these designs and hence my actual fabricated chip should
- run at least at the same speed, if not faster.
-
- Does anyone have any experience in this regards ie. has anyone had a
- chip fabricated whose simulation was done using Irsim and if so, what
- was the factor of speed improvement ?
