  17. Just a couple of questions about memory usage in Meridian Ada...
  18.  
  19. Firstly, when the & function is used, is the memory taken by the concatenated
  20. string deallocated, and if so is it at the end of the statement, or the end
  21. of the block?
  22.  
  23. Secondly, is there any way of telling when you are getting close to a
  24. storage error? At the moment, when data is entered and a storage error
  25. occurs, it is too late to recover nicely.
