  14. I am looking for good scanning softwares (and places to get them) to use
  15. on Macs. At present I'm using AppleScan with 300dpi to scan in 2-in photos,
  16. and printing them out using Pagemaker, which doesn't give me a satisfactory
  17. result. I am looking for smooth grayscales and higher resolution on both
  18.  the scanning and the printing part. any help ?
