- Come on, ease up. This CD-ROM stuff is an experiment. Let's see what information
- we get from it. You aren't losing out on any information or research because you
- get the proceedings anyway, regardless of attending the conference. If the
- proceedings are available in hardcopy, it will be interesting to note if the CD-ROM
- will be used much at all. Since I think this is a valid question, a cheaper way to
- find out the answer is to just give the CD to conference attendees, instead of
- giving it to everyone and their brother. If the CD-ROM is a big hit and promotes
- more research and knowledge, and they distribute the same way next time, then you
- can gripe.
