  14. There are currently (I know "presently means "soon", not "now")
  15. several threads running in this group that seem to have a similar
  16. basis.  This question is prompted by the discussion of
  17. "how many Fortran coders does it take to..."
  18.  
  19. The (quite valid) question raised is whether Fortran should be
  20. taught to CS students.
  21.  
  22. My question is:

  24.     Just because someone programs (is required to program)
  25.     a. Is that person a Computer Scientist
  26.     b. Should that person be called a Computer Scientist.
  27.  
  28.     -or- 
  29.     are all programmers Computer Scientists?
