- I use a filter that only passes what I want to bridge: LAT and some other DEC
- and XYPLEX protocols. This limits the amount of unrecognized junk that goes
- across my precious serial links, and avoids problems like the 9.0(1) ARP bridge
- scenario. To implement this, you need a fairly good source for Ethernet Type
- codes and other assigned numbers; RFC 1060 is very useful, but there are other
- lists, as well.
