  14. I finally got the modem to talk with other modems, but as I have been
  15. trying to figure out all the settings I noticed a few Items that are not
  16. explained ANYWHERE in the manual.

  18. The first case are items reported by the &V command:
  19.  
  20.     %D, %L, and &O.
  21.  
  22. The second case are the bit-mapped S registers.  The doc states that they
  23. are bit mapped registers, but never tells what the values are:
  24.  
  25.     S14, S21, S22, S23, S27, S28.
  26.  
  27. I have checked the documentation for other modems, but I have found that
  28. the settings are different between different modems.  Therefore this
  29. question is directed to those that have used/owned TheComplete PC Modem
  30. 14400/V32, V32bis, V42, V42bis, MNP, FAX Modems.

  32. Also, are there any undocumented features that can be accessed by other
  33. commands?
