- I don't think that is a bad idea Graham, I buy a lot of electrical
- items from the states by mail order, this means that I have a drawer
- full of 110v power supplies which are absolutely no good to me
- I just go down to Tandy and buy a local power supply.
-
- If companies sold power supplies seperately, I may save a little
- money in the total price and in the price of the freight as it would
- be lighter to ship.
-
- Full marks to companies like JDR Microdevices who actually give you a
- choice of power supplies when you buy from them.
-
- A big rasberry to zoom who ship a 110v psu that gives 10.2v AC
- output with their modmems, which made it difficult for me to buy that
- sort psu with stupid AC voltage here in Belgium.
-
- BTW Graham, what do you do with the 110v power supplies when they get
- to you in UK ????? :-) ;-)
