- My scout+, when set for 14.4kb, has successfully connected at 12Kb,
- 9600 and 2400 without any problems. The latter two were to modems for
- which those were the maximum DCE connect speeds, respectively.

- If you don't get some mail that solves your problem, how about posting
- your modem defaults? You can list them with the *O command
- which also shows the current DCE and DTE speeds. Do this before dialing
- and after you've connected (if you haven't done this already). The
- second one should show the lower DCE speed.
