  13. In response to the question actually *asked in the subject line* (folks,  
  14. if you are gonna go off on a tangent, change the subject line  
  15. accordingly), I have had no problems with the Zoom v.32bis Faxmodem.  I  
  16. think it's the same as the Infotel v.32bis Faxmodem (but a little higher  
  17. priced) but since I have no direct experience with the Infotel, I won't  
  18. comment on it.

  20. The Zoom v.32bis Faxmodem has v.32/v.42/v.32bis/Fax (at 9600 or 14.4k  
  21. baud) and probably some other features I'm leaving out.  It doesn't have  
  22. caller-id or voice (whatever this stuff is).  Since my area doesn't have  
  23. caller-id, and I don't wanna get the service from the phone company that  
  24. means nothing to me.  Voice is also useless to me, so I wouldn't want to  
  25. pay for it.

  27. Given the number of problems I've heard about the Supra and the relative  
  28. high price of the ZyXEL model that is comprable to this Zoom, I think the  
  29. Zoom is a good buy.
