  10. I have a Racal modem, RMD3264 connect to a PC Anywhere host. When I dial
  11. from remote using a 9600 V.32/MNP/V.42 modem it works fine. But, when I
  12. dial using a 2400 v.22 hayes compatibles modem, it connects but some 
  13. charathers will be missing. The following is the observations:
  14.  
  15. 1. The alphbet w or W can not pass through from remote. That is when I press
  16. the w key from the remote, it does not appear on both the remote and the host
  17. screee. When I press the w key on the host side, it gets thorough fine and 
  18. appear on the remote screen
  19.  
  20. 2. When I press w on the remote PC, since it can't transmit, I saw a lot of
  21. activity on the TD/RD indicator on the remote modem, and a after a while
  22. the connection drop.
